Denise is a Contemplative Psychotherapist who is passionate about working with individuals and groups. She has worked with a broad range of issues including chemical dependency, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationships. After living in Japan for several years, Denise returned to the states and received her M.A. in counseling from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. She integrates the Buddhist approach of mindfulness with a Humanistic approach of self-empowerment to help guide her clients into stepping into their highest potential. Denise also has intensive training in facilitating therapeutic groups. The group process can often be more beneficial for clients as it intensifies one's awareness of self and relationships, in a safe and healing environment.
